Terms of Use
Last updated: May 1, 2026
Welcome to Parcel Detect. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website, tools, pages, features, and services made available through Parcel Detect, including any shipment tracking search functionality, carrier information pages, and related content.
By accessing or using Parcel Detect, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the website or services.
1. Overview and Acceptance of Terms
Parcel Detect is an independent third-party information platform that helps users search, aggregate, and view publicly available shipment tracking information in a unified interface.
Parcel Detect is not a shipping carrier, courier, logistics provider, delivery company, postal operator, customs broker, or official representative of any carrier. We do not handle, transport, ship, store, inspect, clear, redirect, or deliver packages.
Your use of Parcel Detect is subject to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional notices or policies that may appear on the website.
2. Description of the Service
Parcel Detect provides an informational tracking search and indexing service. Users may enter shipment tracking numbers, and Parcel Detect may retrieve, aggregate, index, organize, and display tracking-related information from publicly available sources, third-party APIs, carrier systems, logistics data providers, or other external sources.
Parcel Detect may provide:
- Shipment tracking lookup tools;
- Unified tracking status pages;
- Links or references to carrier websites;
- Informational pages about carriers, logistics companies, postal operators, delivery services, or shipping-related topics;
- General educational or SEO-oriented content about shipping and tracking;
- Contact or feedback options;
- Advertising, analytics, and other third-party integrations.
Parcel Detect acts similarly to a specialized search engine or information aggregator for package tracking data. We do not create the underlying carrier tracking events and we do not control carrier systems, delivery operations, transit scans, customs processing, delivery attempts, or package status updates.
3. User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use
You are responsible for how you use Parcel Detect and for ensuring that your use complies with applicable laws, regulations, and these Terms.
You agree not to:
- Use Parcel Detect for unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, abusive, or harmful purposes;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, database, API, account, server, network, or non-public information;
- Use bots, scrapers, crawlers, automated tools, bulk queries, scripts, or similar methods without our prior written permission;
- Interfere with, overload, disrupt, or degrade the availability, security, or performance of Parcel Detect;
- Reverse engineer, copy, extract, harvest, resell, or commercially exploit tracking data or website content without authorization;
- Submit tracking numbers or information that you are not authorized to access or use;
- Use Parcel Detect to stalk, harass, monitor, or unlawfully track another person;
- Misrepresent Parcel Detect as an official carrier, courier, postal operator, or logistics provider;
- Remove, obscure, or alter any legal notices, disclaimers, attribution, or trademark notices;
- Use the service in a way that could create liability for Parcel Detect or our third-party service providers.
We may apply rate limits, block suspicious traffic, restrict automated requests, suspend access, or take other protective measures to preserve the security and availability of the service.
4. Accuracy of Information Disclaimer
Tracking information displayed on Parcel Detect may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, unavailable, duplicated, outdated, incorrectly formatted, or different from information shown on official carrier websites.
Parcel Detect does not guarantee that tracking data is real-time, complete, accurate, reliable, or suitable for any particular purpose. Tracking events may depend on third-party systems, carrier APIs, public sources, logistics partners, customs authorities, or other external providers beyond our control.
You should always verify important shipment information directly with the official carrier, courier, postal operator, merchant, sender, recipient, or logistics provider. This is especially important for delivery disputes, lost packages, customs issues, address corrections, delivery instructions, insurance claims, refunds, legal matters, or time-sensitive shipments.
Parcel Detect does not make delivery decisions, update carrier records, change shipment routes, hold packages, release packages, correct addresses, process customs, resolve delivery disputes, or provide official proof of delivery.
5. Intellectual Property and Trademark Notice
Parcel Detect and its original website design, software, interface, text, layout, branding, databases, compilations, and other original content are owned by Parcel Detect or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
All carrier names, courier names, company names, service names, logos, trademarks, trade names, and brand identifiers displayed or referenced on Parcel Detect are the property of their respective owners.
Carrier names, logos, and trademarks may be used on Parcel Detect solely for identification, reference, compatibility, informational, indexing, or tracking-related purposes. Such use does not imply any affiliation, endorsement, sponsorship, partnership, authorization, official status, or business relationship between Parcel Detect and any carrier, courier, logistics company, postal operator, or trademark owner.
Parcel Detect is an independent third-party platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, authorized by, or officially connected to any carrier or logistics company unless explicitly stated in writing.
If you are a trademark owner and believe that any content on Parcel Detect improperly references your trademark, please contact us at [email protected] with sufficient information to identify the issue. We will review reasonable trademark concerns in good faith.
6. Third-Party Services, APIs, Links, Ads, and Analytics
Parcel Detect may rely on third-party services, APIs, databases, publicly available sources, advertising networks, analytics providers, hosting providers, security providers, and other external tools to operate and improve the service.
These third-party services may include, for example, tracking data providers, carrier APIs, Google Ads, Google Analytics, or similar technologies.
Third-party services are not controlled by Parcel Detect. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, legality, security, privacy practices, content, policies, or performance of any third-party website, API, carrier system, advertisement, analytics provider, or external service.
Parcel Detect may display links to official carrier websites or other third-party websites for convenience. The inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement, affiliation, sponsorship, or verification by Parcel Detect.
Your interactions with third-party websites, carriers, advertisers, or service providers are solely between you and those third parties. You should review their applicable terms, privacy policies, and official information before relying on them.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Parcel Detect, its owners, operators, employees, contractors, affiliates, partners, licensors, and service providers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or similar damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, Parcel Detect.
This includes, without limitation, damages related to:
- Delayed, inaccurate, incomplete, missing, or unavailable tracking information;
- Lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misdelivered, returned, held, or undelivered packages;
- Delivery disputes, customs delays, failed delivery attempts, address errors, or carrier mistakes;
- Reliance on information displayed by Parcel Detect;
- Third-party APIs, carrier systems, public data sources, advertisements, analytics tools, or external websites;
- Service interruptions, technical errors, security incidents, bugs, viruses, or unauthorized access;
- Loss of profits, revenue, business, data, goodwill, reputation, opportunity, or other intangible losses.
Parcel Detect does not assume responsibility for the acts, omissions, policies, delays, errors, or service failures of any carrier, courier, postal operator, merchant, customs authority, logistics provider, advertiser, analytics provider, or other third party.
Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with Parcel Detect is to stop using the service.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. In such cases, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
8. Service Availability
Parcel Detect is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We do not guarantee that the website or any feature will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, fast, complete, accurate, or available at any particular time or location.
We may modify, suspend, restrict, discontinue, or remove any part of the service at any time, with or without notice. We may also limit access to certain features, regions, users, IP addresses, traffic sources, or automated systems when necessary to protect the service.
Parcel Detect is not responsible for any loss, inconvenience, or damage resulting from service interruptions, maintenance, technical failures, third-party outages, data source limitations, API restrictions, or changes to carrier systems.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update or revise these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we may update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Your continued use of Parcel Detect after changes are posted means that you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should stop using the service.
We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
10. Termination and Access Restrictions
We may suspend, restrict, block, or terminate your access to Parcel Detect at any time if we believe that:
- You violated these Terms;
- Your use creates legal, technical, security, operational, or reputational risk;
- Your traffic appears abusive, automated, fraudulent, or harmful;
- We are required to do so by law, regulation, court order, government request, third-party provider requirement, or security concern.
We may also remove or restrict content, features, or access without notice where necessary to protect Parcel Detect, our users, third-party providers, or the integrity of the service.
Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law provisions.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Considerations
Parcel Detect is intended for a global audience. Because users may access the service from different countries, applicable laws may vary depending on your location and the location of the service operator.
Unless a specific local law provides otherwise, these Terms should be interpreted in a commercially reasonable manner consistent with generally recognized principles applicable to online information services, independent indexing platforms, and digital service providers.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer protection rights or other rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Before bringing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us at [email protected] and provide a reasonable description of the issue so that we may attempt to resolve it informally.
