Why packages get marked delivered before you get them
Carriers sometimes scan a package as delivered before it reaches your door. This can happen when the driver is running ahead of schedule, when the package is left with a neighbor or front desk, or when the scan happens at the delivery facility rather than at your address. In rarer cases, the package may have been stolen from your porch.
